Growing up, I traveled widely and was homeschooled, which meant I was constantly meeting new people and immersing myself in different cultures and landscapes. This early exposure sparked my fascination with the relationship between people and nature.

After returning to the UK as a teenager, I pursued a GNVQ in the sciences at Reading College and explored various horticultural careers, from commercial nurseries to floristry.

Eventually, I found my true calling in the natural world of gardening, where I’ve worked for over two decades.

In my early twenties, I began studying landscape architecture at Kingston University. Yet, a curriculum focused more on structures than on the natural environment led me to forge my own path.

I started a gardening company that specialized in estate management, allowing me to work closely with the land.

With sprawling orchards and flourishing borders to tend, I thrived in a role where I could fully engage with plants and nature. As the business grew though, I found myself stepping away from the landscapes I cherished, moving into management rather than nurturing the earth.

In my late thirties, I returned to my roots, earning a diploma in Garden Design from KLC School of Design in Chelsea Harbour. Since then, I’ve focused on creating gardens that invite clients to experience the transformative power of nature.

Balancing design work with time spent in my own gardens and allotment, I’ve found the perfect harmony: inspiring people to realize their dream landscapes while staying grounded in the natural world that first drew me to this path.
